H6/H8 offer a perfect solution for machining general parts to difficult-to-cutcomponents through high-rigidity, high-precision machining performance.High-productivity, horizontal machining center with a highly rigid structural design to enable hard cutting and maintain precision during prolonged operation.

The application of highly rigid box-way guides and a twin drive system to the X and Y-axis allows processing of general parts as well as difficult-to-cut components, and servo-operated tool and workpiece changers reduce non-cutting time, increasing productivity and enhancing operational reliability and maintainability. Also, 3D design and FEM analysis secured structural stability, while the Hwacheon-developed machining software increases machining efficiency and precision to provide a faster and safer working environment.

 

Main features

High-Rigidity Mechanical Structure

The highly rigid box-on-box structure supports fast and stable machining, and the machine's minimal installation space requirement is perfect for FA systems.

Highly rigid spindle design

The spindle integrates the motor to limit vibration, noise, and power loss at high speed rotation. The jet of oil is injected directly onto the spindle bearing for effective cooling, and the motor and the spindle assembly are jacket-cooled to limit the displacement caused by heat. To achieve greater precision, the spindle constantly monitors for possible thermal displacement and makes necessary adjustment in real time.

 

High-Precision Feed System

The roller linear guide feeds a heavy workpiece stably and smoothly, and the direct-coupled servo motor minimizes backlash during the feed. The machine automatically injects set amount of lubricant onto the linear guide and ball screws to maintain precision and smooth feeding.

When the spindle rotates at high speed, the centrifugal force drives the taper to expand, causing errors in Z axis. HSDC constantly monitors the temperature at each spindle region and makes optimal prediction for thermal displacement.

The system then makes necessary adjustments and eff ectively minimizing thermal displacement.
