    08. Hwacheon Machine Tool establishes a new assembly plant in the Pyeong-dong Industrial Complex in Gwangju.

    07. Hwacheon purchases and acquires TPS Korea
    04. The Minister of Knowledge Economy recognizes Seoam Machineries as a component and material specialist company.

    12. Hwacheon Machine Tool wins the grand prize in "Digital Knowledge Management Award." Mr. Kwon, the CEO of Hwacheon, is named among the 60 great engineers who has contributed to the growth of Korea.
    Seoam Machineries obtains 6 patents including "centrifugal force compensated power chuck for the lathe."
    11. Hwacheon Machinery Works gains the ISO 14001:2004 "environment-friendly management" certification.
