VT-450
VT-450 turning centers have been the preferred choice for many Manufacturers around the world.
They have demonstrated exceptional capabilities by machining brake discs, brake drums, hubs and valves. The one piece machine bed design limits thermal distortion and absorbs vibration effectively and it guarantees high surface quality and precision at high speed.
These turning centers can be ordered with the spindle on the left or the right side, or as double machine where the operator can work on two machines with one control. The fast and effective chip disposal and the environment friendly oil-water separation design will make your production more efficient and cost effective.
Main features
Independent feed and processing areas
To prevent the lubricant from dripping on the work surface, the work area and the feed area have been completely separated. The machine's environment-friendly design doesn't require a water-oil separator because the lubricant and the cooling fluid work independently--such design is ideal for processing automobile parts such as brake disks, brake drums, and brake hubs.
Highly rigid spindle design
The spindle in VT-450 provides powerful chucking for stable, precise machining. The Hwacheon clean room assembly facility, where these super-precision, super-speed spindles are manufactured, maintains optimal temperature and humidity, and is kept free of any foreign substances. Only the most skilled master engineers are allowed in the assembly facility, to produce only the best equipment under the toughest quality standard in the industry
High Power Transmission
The gear transmission system allows for high-torque turning at low speed and also high speed turning. The transmission and the spindle motor are designed separately so that the heat and the vibration generated from the transmission don't interfere with the spindle axis. Max. torque: 1,981Nm (when the αp40 motor is equipped with the transmission system)
